Join fellow RDA Coaches and Group Trustees for a full-day workshop focused on building confidence and strengthening our shared approach to safety in RDA sessions.

Led by Clare Gabriel and supported by Howden Insurance Brokers, the day covers essential topics including H&S law, risk assessments, incident reporting, and practical scenario-based learning. It’s a great chance to reflect, share best practice, and return to your group with fresh insights and practical tools.

Join us for a special tour at Liphook Equine Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to meet our veterinarians and hospital nurses. The focus of the tour will be on Caring for the Old Horse.

Schedule 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Time: Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

South Region Conference

The South Region will be holding a conference next year! It is going to be a very exciting day packed full of knowlege and a wonderful opportunity to make connections and build friendships between groups

Date – 21st April 2026

Location – Warbrook House Hotel, The Street, Hampshire, RG27 0PL

Timings – 9:30 am to 4 pm

Agenda – TBC, but we are currently working on an exciting, informative and inspirational adgenda that will include breaks for all food and drinks

Windsor Lions Sponsered Ride – 6th & 7th September 2025

The Windsor Lions arrange this event https://www.windsorlions.co.uk/sponsored-horseride every year and every year they very generously donate the proceeds from it to us!

Not directly ‘us’ as in ‘your group’, but ‘us’ as in the South Region and every year, the proceeds go towards funding all of our South Region First Aid Training. This year, we have the added bonus of extra funds being allocated to us to support our South Region Conference (21^st April 2026 – save the date) next year.

They need volunteers to marshal the event, and it would be super helpful if you could offer your time to go along and support them. It’s a wonderful event and your help would be greatly appreciated

It is on the 6^th and 7^th of September at Windsor Great Park and either day or both days are available for us to help.

RDA UK Advisory Board applications are open!

The opportunity to serve on RDA Advisory boards are now open!

Serving on an advisory board is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise, provide strategic input, and help shape the future of our work. We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds who are passionate about making a meaningful impact.

The Advisory Boards will focus on:

Member Group Quality and Standards – Supporting RDA UK to maintain strong controls on quality and standards across all Member Groups.

Activity – Advising on the full range of riding, carriage driving, equine-assisted services, and competitions.

Equine Welfare – Ensuring our horses receive the highest standards of care, treated with compassion and respect.
