Friday 12th

  • My Everest (12A) film screening and Q&A, Legends Bar 8.00 pm
    • This is the story of RDA rider Max Stainton-Parfitt and his support crew as he attempts to treck to Everest Basecamp on horseback
    • Q&A with Director Carl Woods and Disability Consultant Sam Oldknow
    • Limited free tickets, booking required

Saturday 13th from 10.00 am

  • My Everest Exhibition- meet crew who trecked to Everest Basecamp and record your own epic story
  • Get crafty in the childrens workshop
  • RDA Arts and Crafts on display
  • Polyjumps clear round course… for people!
  • Vaulting on the ‘barrel horse’
  • Test your horse care knowlege and skills
  • Enter the Agria fun dogshow class
  • Ice cremas, Coffee, food & drink
  • Disabled parking & drop off points
  • Accessible toilet and changing place with hoist

South Region Qualifer Details for the day

We are looking forward to welcoming you all the the South Region Qualifer on the 19th May at Berkshire College of Agriculture.

Please see attached for competitor times and arenas, along with a list of competitors showing numbers and classes entered

Arrival Time– There is no access or entry to the show site or horsebox/lorry park before 8:30 (except for organisers, stewards and volunteers).

Dressage Arena Walks– The dressage arena walks are from 9:15- 9:45 for both the indoor and outdoor arena.

Countryside Challenge– Competitor Countryside Challenge course walk is from 9:00 – 9:20 and again at 11:00 – 11:15. The Horse/pony unmounted Countryside Challenge Arena Walk is from 9:20 – 9:40. The Countryside challenge competition takes place from 9:45 until 12:45. There are no individual times so please present to the steward when ready.

Prize Giving– Prize giving will take place in the indoor arena at 13:10.

Passport Checks– Passports will be checked prior to entry to the Horsebox/lorry park. Please have them ready upon your arrival.

Hats– All hats to be checked and tagged, if not already tagged, at the hat checking point near the show office (see map). Please be advised that it is compulsory for all leaders to wear a hat and gloves.

Numbers– Numbers need to be collected by a representivitve from each group from the number collection point near the show office (see map)

Photo Permission– If a rider has not given permission to be photographed, please advise the secretary prior to the event. Unless told otherwise it will be assumed that all riders have given permission to be photographed.

Substitute Equines– If you have to have a substitute equine please advice the show secretary asap. If a substitute is made on the day, please report to the secretary’s office (see map) to advise. All vaccinations must be correct and up to date.

Vet on Call– There will be no vet in attendance, however there is a vet on call. Iian McKenzie Equine Practice, Carlos, 01344937897.

Caterers– Roasted’n’toastd will be in the horsebox/lorry park.

Ice Cream– The Ice Cream van will be near the indoor arena from 11:30 – 13:30

M4 Road Closure– Be aware and check before travelling that there is currently scheduled road closures between Junction 11 Reading and Junction 12 Theale Westbound from the 17th- 20th May (9pm Friday – 6am Monday)
